Robert is an American Hero and a member of our community

Robert found us in the fall of 2025. He was recommended to us by Boot Barn. 😎

Robert wanted us to make him a white cowboy hat with purple binding that would match the colors of his Purple Heart Patch we sewed to the front of the hat.

This hat build would be a hat he would wear to the Military Order Of the Purple Heart Conference where he was speaking in front of 1000s of wounded soldiers.

Robert Joined the Army before 9/11 and served with the 3rd battalion 7th Marines 1st Marine Division.

He was wounded in 2004 in Iraq in the An Anabar province.

Robert has been active with non-profit veterans organization since 2012 and became the National Commander (president) of the Military Order of the Purple Heart (MOPH) in 2024 and asked to be the president for a second year in a row in 2025. A request no one else has ever been asked because typically the president serves for one year.
