Cowboy Conversion for our Buddy Bart

Bart found us back in September. He has been on the hunt for a nice hat for years and had all but given up. He really wanted to try hats on in person. He felt internet shopping was too impersonal.

One day he was walking down Olympic Avenue and was thrilled to see our Neon Sign “Custom Hat Shop”

He was even more thrilled when he stepped inside the building.

Since this day he has purchased two of my handmade hats off the wall and rotates them everyday.

The third hat I made him is a different scenario. Years ago Bart bought himself a traditional black cowboy hat. As soon as it arrived he said to himself, “I’ll never wear that.” And in the box it sat.

He brought that cowboy hat in and he called the project “Cowboy Conversion” 😆

We took that cowboy hat and made it into this cool fedora.

Bart left with his “new”, old hat he can wear daily, beat it up, get it dirty and he won’t have to feel bad.
